It is a more cruising sailing focussed design with a lighter more modern build and an optimised interior layout. This Summer Twins boasts at least 1.8m headroom throughout, three double berths, generous heads and galley. With a wide beam it can take a good amount of sail area, and with substantial bridgedeck clearance (no nacelle) and tiller steering it sails unusually well for a boat with this much accommodation! The seller has successfully cruised it along the South Coast, and to the Scillies, and has updated it without overcomplicating this delightful family cruiser. Aluminium mast and boom. Standing rigging replaced in 2018. Roller furling to genoa (replaced 2018). Slab reefing to mainsail. Sail bag. 1 large double berth aft in each hull, plus a huge saloon which converts easily to give another double or several singles if required. Large galley plus generous heads compartment. The interior has had news aloon settee cushions in cream (2024) also a new VYNL flooring in 2024 light grey. The original sea toilet has been replaced with a chemical toilet to allow her to be used in a drying mooring.
