Well equipped and maintained example of this sturdy motorsailer by Norwegian builder Fjord Boats. This is the twin helm version with wheel steering in the cockpit and in the cabin. 'Aurora' is fitted with an economical and reliable Beta B43 inboard diesel, a recently installed bow thruster and new batteries.Her standing rigging has been fully certified, her sails sails laundered and checked, which included a new UV strip on her main. Mast tabernacle allows the raising and lowering of the spars allowing convenient travel through the canal systems.Below decks the newness continues with new interior carpets, curtains and upholstery. Mechanical Vessel is powered by a Beta B43 inboard diesel engine. The engine was installed in 2006 and has a reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft and 2 bladed bronze propeller.Single lever engine controls at both helms. Engine start panel at lower helm with rev counter, digital hour meter and visual and audible warnings relating to oil pressure, temperature and charging. The engine has completed 638 serviced hours with most recent in May 2023. Engine is situated beneath the wheelhouse sole and allows all round access for servicing.Bank of 4x12V batteries providing engine start, domestic power and bow thruster power. The batteries are all new 2023 and fitted with isolators.12/240V panel adjacent to helm with individually fused selectors. Battery monitor installed. Batteries recharged via engine alternator or the onboard battery charger. Shore power including cable. Rigging Bermudan sloop rigged yacht with single set of spreaders. Anodised aluminium deck stepped mast mounted in custom made tabernacle that allows the mast to be dropped easily when transiting rivers/canals with limited clearance. Although she is classed as a motorsailer, she does sail well.Her standing rigging and mast were inspected by a rigger in May 2023. The only requirement was to replace one of the lower shrouds. A rigging certificate has been issued.All running rigging was replaced at the same time.Her in-mast furling main and roller furling genoa were laundered, checked and any necessary repairs made. There is a lightly used cruising chute along with the associated rigging and pole.Set of 2x Harken self tailing genoa sheet winches mounted in cockpit within easy reach of helm. Spinnaker halyard winch mounted on coachroof and an additional 2x halyard winches mounted on mast.
